Flame and empowerment cycle: Twin waves strike forward and backward simultaneously
Attacks: Retains the jump slam, fireballs, fire pillars, and empowered low attacks. The twin waves cover both the front and rear of her body simultaneously, not one side and then the other.
How to dodge: First move away from the jump-slam landing point and fire pillars. Move away from her body while the twin waves charge. Do not merely circle behind her, and do not wait for a supposed first wave to end before turning back to rush an attack.
When to counter: Attack briefly or replenish supplies only after confirming this round of bidirectional attacks has finished and the path through the flames is open. Retreat immediately when you see a spin or pursuit slash starting.
After defeating Joan in the rematch, follow the trial path to the endpoint and strike the courage verification bell. Return to the Hall of Four Virtues only after confirming you obtained the virtue of Courage.
