First obtain Fist of Talos and set it as your current Tarot Arcanum, then land before the sword pedestal in Notre-Dame’s Chapel and interact. When you see a shield slam, first move out from under the shield, then avoid the scattered fragments; when the shield is lowered steadily, keep watching; do not rush straight in for a long combo. Attack briefly once both the shield slam and fragments clear the approach route, or after a melee attack has definitely missed. Lowering the shield itself does not guarantee lasting safety; retreat when the shield or an arm is raised again. After defeating Arthur, absorb the reward orb and collect both Excalibur and Stained-Glass Shield.
