Eastern Summit: Defense Enhancement Book round trip
Start at the mirror in Eastern Summit, cross the lower saw-blade passage to obtain the Defense Enhancement Book, then return to the mirror to save.
Before setting out, clear the encounter, open the gate, and unlock Double Jump and Smash.
Detailed steps
Save and replenish supplies at the mirror in “Eastern Summit”, confirming that Double Jump and Smash are available and the encounter gate has been removed. Press A to leave the mirror room through the left exit onto the main platform, then continue left to the one-way platform below the gate.
Success signal：Enter the main platform in Eastern Summit; the former gate has already disappeared.
Note：If the gate is still there, complete the encounter in the current room first.
Press S＋Space to drop through one level and move close to the left wall. Press S to crouch, then D to face right and prepare for the next drop.
Success signal：Stand on the left side of the lower one-way platform, with your back to the left wall.
Note：Land securely before changing direction; do not accidentally trigger wall climbing while falling beside the wall.
Watch the two saw blades, one above and one below. Wait until the left saw blade moves upward away from the landing spot, then press S＋Space to drop through; only when near the bottom, press S＋Space to use Smash. Wait for the brief landing recovery to end, then press A＋Left Shift to slide into the narrow opening at the bottom left.
Success signal：Pass through the narrow opening into the alcove below the book without triggering the trap's return teleport.
Note：Use Smash only near the landing point, then slide after landing recovery ends. Choose the timing based on the saw blade's position.
Press Space to jump inside the alcove, press Space again in midair, and move close to the platform above holding the book. After touching it, wait for the pickup animation to finish.
Success signal：The book disappears, and defense enhancement increases by 1.
Note：Touch it to collect it; no need to press E; the bonus takes effect immediately; no equippable book is added to the inventory.
Press S＋Space to return to the bottom of the alcove. Wait until the lower saw blade moves toward the left end, then press D＋Left Shift to exit through the opening; once your body clears the opening's wall and the slide can be chained into a jump, immediately press Space, then add a second jump.
Success signal：Cross the saw passage and steer toward the small central platform.
Note：Do not wait for the full slide animation to finish before jumping, and do not stop in the saw passage to drink a potion.
Jump onto the small central platform, then press A＋Space to jump up-left onto the platform; press Space a second time promptly and avoid the low ceiling. If you grab the ledge, wait until you can move again after grabbing the ledge, then press W to climb up.
Success signal：The character finishes climbing and stands securely on the left platform.
Note：While hanging, climb onto the platform before starting the next jump.
Jump from the left platform back to the main platform above, press D to walk right, jump onto the step before the door, and pass through it to return to the starting mirror room.
Success signal：Return to the same save mirror at “Eastern Summit”.
Note：Retrace your route to the mirror room; do not linger near the saw blades.
Walk up to the mirror and press E, wait for saving to finish, then confirm the defense enhancement is still retained.
Success signal：The save notification ends, and the defense enhancement remains.
Note：Exit the game only after saving finishes.
