Death · Notre-Dame

Go to Notre-Dame’s Choir and complete the full Death fight there. The catacomb encounter does not replace this fight. First avoid the flying scythe’s path while locating the body after its teleport. While it retrieves the scythe, stay ready to dodge the sweep; do not drink a potion at close range; this sweep cannot be negated by parrying; even far from the body, beware of its sideways reach. Only approach for brief attacks once the post-retrieval sweep has truly ended and all flying objects have cleared. Stop attacking and reposition as soon as the body teleports again. After defeating Death, absorb the reward orb and finish the story scene to obtain Soul Harvest. Leave the boss room and go to the marked Double Jump tutorial point in Notre-Dame. Trigger and complete the tutorial scene to unlock Double Jump.
