Find a ship in Grandport
In the Kingdom of Grandshelt, the people lived peacefully, enjoying the blessings brought about by the Crystals.
Rain, commander of the kingdom’s airship squadron, receives orders from the king. The magical barrier surrounding the Earth Shrine, which the kingdom has guarded for generations, is weakening. Rain is to find out why.
He and his longtime friend and second-in-command, Lasswell, set out to investigate the matter.
At the Earth Shrine, they encounter a mysterious man in black armor. He overwhelms them with his tremendous strength and shatters the Earth Crystal.
Rain and Lasswell make it out alive thanks to a strange young woman’s power, but they find their airship and crew destroyed.
Rain’s father, Raegen, had left behind a message to Lasswell, as if he had foreseen this, and the two search the basement of their childhood home just as the message instructed.
In the basement, they find a rift connecting to the Farplane. An entity calling itself the Will of Light leads the two knights to obtain the power of visions from Vision Crystals.
Visions—manifestations of warriors from other worlds. Equipped with this newfound power, Rain and Lasswell make for Grandshelt Castle.
They arrive to see Grandshelt Castle under assault by the man in black armor—Umbra, the Veritas of the Dark. They manage to rescue the king, but Rain is struck down once again.
They turn toward the Kolobos Ruins to track down Umbra and are joined by Fina, a mysterious young woman who has lost her memories.
In the Kolobos Ruins, Rain’s subordinates who had been cut down at the Earth Shrine return as wraith soldiers through the scientist Lazarov’s inhumane research into reanimating the dead.
Though Lazarov manages to elude Rain and Lasswell, they help the researchers from Felicitas who had been captured to be used in his experiments. However, one researcher—the mother of Emma, the girl they met along the way—loses her life trying to protect those working under her.

Based on information that the Sworn Six went to Dirnado, Rain’s group heads to Grandport to find a ship that can follow their quarry.
In Grandport, however, the seas are too rough for any ship to set sail.
