Speak to the blacksmith at the valley outpost to unlock equipment upgrades. Find forged metal where you first met Yu'er. Find twin metal at the end of the side path by the rusty blade pavilion.

What secret lies within the outpost's chain-sealed courtyard?

At Broken Puppet Valley, face the bell and take the path on the right. Pick up Exotic Copper Ingot at the end. On the second floor of the Sha-Chi Tower, turn right and follow the passage to Mechanical Gear.

After defeating Hua Qianxiao, descend below the bridge for Simmering Brew. Continue along the path for tainted crystals. Enter the passage by the Mirrorwood Depths bell. Search the ground for crystals and the left side for the refined indigo crystal.

Enter CRIMSON FOREST and find the first bell at the entrance.

Defeat Hua Qianxiao at Pangzhen Bridge Overlook. Descend from the middle of the bridge to the lower level.

Defeat Jing Ye at Outlaw Trap and advance to the entrance of the wooden bridge.

Go uphill from Red Serpent House to Cliffside Lodge. Pass through the door on the left with the red lantern.

Defeat Iron Fever below Mirrorwood Entrance. Turn to face the bell.

Enter the area with three mirrors from Mirrorwood Depths. Listen to the crying to choose the entrance.

Start at the crossroads in VILLAGE OF LU. Take the right-hand road to the outer camp gate.

Cross the bridge from the old man's location and challenge Zhuo Bi, the Gatekeeper.

Gather evidence of the conspiracy against The Four Axes

Near Well of the Three Puppets, descend to the riverbed from the right side of the wooden bridge.

Remove the red threads at Covered Bridge. Approach the statue grounds and fight Master Bi Yuan of the Tianxuan Sect.

Cross Covered Bridge and defeat Master Bi Yuan of the Tianxuan Sect inside the statue grounds.

Go to the market bell in PANGZHEN.

Obtain the mansion key from the innkeeper in the hall of Myst's Tavern.

Defeat Wu Xuan beyond the backstreet arch. Pass Backstreet Rest and the narrow house's second floor to reach Pond of Fading Song.

Face the front door of Green Serpent House in PANGZHEN. Move to the roof on the right.

From Green Serpent House, cross the stone bridge on the left. Enter the street with firecrackers and follow the right wall.

Return to Pond of Fading Song with FLAMING MANE and burn the thorns.

After the prologue, explore the valley and look for the body by the shrine.

Eliminate the Old Archer's corrupted disciples at the Ruthless Archer Camp

Defeat Peng Meng outside the valley outpost and collect his final letter.

Open the Books tab after starting the game. More entries appear as the story progresses.

From the red thread barrier, go north through the cave and examine the riverbank near the rapids.

In the valley, defeat Jagged Steel, the Frenzied Brute to obtain JAGGED STEEL for damage. Fight Hua, Deadly Betrothed in the tower for SCARLET WRAITHBLADE.

Defeat Jing Ye in the forest for OUTLAW WARBLADE, then defeat Wu Xuan in PANGZHEN for WOLFJAW. Equip them together.

Cross the red threads in WEEPING CREEK VALLEY. Wait until the enemies start fighting each other before approaching Jagged Steel, the Frenzied Brute.

Head past the outpost and equip JAGGED STEEL for the fight against Peng Meng.

At the first floor of the tower, descend the front-right staircase to the bottom. Take the left stairs up to Hua, Deadly Betrothed.

Face The Hunt, Hunter of the Order at Great Waterfall. Save Sha-Chi for the repeated ranged attacks.

Go to Pangzhen Bridge Overlook and challenge Hua Qianxiao on the bridge.

Turn left at the Outlaw Trap bell and cross the cave. With THE FANATIC'S BROKEN BLADE, you can attack Jing Ye from a distance while tipsy.
