BLAZING EDGE as a soul-forged form and as a separate weapon

To use the soul-forged form of BLAZING EDGE, start with SANGUINE REACH from the valley outpost. The normal way to obtain the separate weapon entry has not been confirmed.

  1. At the valley outpost, talk to the blacksmith beside the bell. Inspect the weapon rack on his right and check your inventory for SANGUINE REACH.

  2. Defeat the fire-blade fighter Zhu Yuan, then complete the third dragon pillar challenge on the eastern side of the lake. Check that the two fragments have combined into Flaming Grip. Prepare 5000 Dust.
  3. After unlocking soul forging, select SANGUINE REACH at a bell. Confirm only if the evolution preview shows BLAZING EDGE. This gives the soul-forged form of SANGUINE REACH.
  4. The first acquisition of the separate weapon entry is unconfirmed. Defeating the ambush group with Jing Ye awards OUTLAW WARBLADE. Repeating that fight is not a confirmed way to obtain the separate weapon.
