- With FLAMING MANE, return to Pavilion of Knowledge Crossroads. Burn the thorns on the ascending stairs, cross the boards into the house, descend through Mandate Lodgings and climb the stairs again.
- Dodge the close-range grab. When the enemy reaches or lunges, move out of its path. A red-flash attack leads into another unblockable hit. Keep moving after the first dodge and counter after the follow-up.
- Stop attacking when the boss shows the blade and takes a counter stance. Resume pressure when the stance ends. After the fight, check for PARTING HOOKS.
