The enemy can still shoot at range. Cross the line of fire sideways and close between shots. Perfect-block the blue-flash strike just before impact. Once the combo starts, watch for the follow-up hits. Counter when the last strike misses. Probe with a short attack in melee. The enemy can counter, so stop the string if the opener misses.
