The enemy has a guard-breaking move. Leave room to dodge when it winds up for a heavy hit. The enemy can still shoot at range. Cross the line of fire sideways and close between shots. When the enemy winds up, finish your own combo early. Wait for the release before dodging or countering. Perfect-block the blue-flash strike just before impact.
