Rescue steps
Step 1
Reach The Drak Temple The Collector has asked you to procure another shepherd of souls for him, or a blank slate that can be morphed into "something useful". They pointed you to a promising location, which may house the undead shell you need. Reach the temple in question to proceed.
Step 2
Find The Collector Assistant You've reached the temple of the Collector assistant. Venture inside and re-emerge with the assistant in tow to please the Collector.

Crafting and facilities
Crafting access
The examples below belong to this crafter’s workshop. Open the matching recipe cards for ingredients and unlock requirements; rescuing the survivor does not unlock every recipe at once.
Crafting example 1
Revelwood Bone Key × 1. Ingredients per craft: Ectoplasm Gem × 5, Bones × 20. See the recipe for other unlock conditions.
Crafting example 2
Decay Tool × 1. Ingredients per craft: Bronze Bars × 1, Limestone × 1, Hardwood × 1. See the recipe for other unlock conditions.
Crafting example 3
Ectoplasm Soup × 5. Ingredients per craft: Honey × 5, Ectoplasm × 5. Shelter is required. See the recipe for other unlock conditions.
If a recipe is missing
Check the recipe’s quest, previously collected ingredient and facility requirements, then gather the quantities needed now. For recipes requiring shelter, check the crafter’s shelter status. An assistant offers access to the same workshop, without bypassing unlock requirements.
After the rescue
Settling and locating the survivor
After rescue, select the survivor with the Summoning Staff and place them at your base. Return to the base where you placed them for later visits; the original vault or body location is not their permanent workshop.
